Intercultural Empowerment

Her first overseas assignment in China from 2011-2014 was the perfect opportunity for Ruth and her family to demonstrate their cross-cultural skills. 


After six years back in Germany, Ruth has been living with her family in the Netherlands since 2020.


When the move to the Netherlands came up, Ruth and her husband attended another intercultural seminar, which they didn't consider important at first. "Surely anyone who has lived in China for three years doesn't need any more intercultural preparation??" 

Although the neighboring country seems similar to the German culture at first glance, there are differences. For example in the business world, where decisions are made very contrary to the German corporate culture. 


She has reflected on the experiences of living in different countries, including changing jobs and school systems, and compiled them into professional expertise. 


Ruth convinces at her training with helpful and practice-oriented content, combined with exciting, often humorous group processes, which she underpins with her knowledge in neuroscience and behavioral studies.
